Gedeon Richter’s 120th anniversary allows us to celebrate our company’s outstanding achievements, expertise and high-quality pharmaceutical products that have been constantly provided for 120 years. Our CSR actions and volunteering activities are a great way to remind all of us of Gedeon Richter, the founder of our company, and his spirit of solidarity.

Celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2021, Richter Gedeon Plc will plant 120 trees in Debrecen in the jubilee year as part of its commitment to social responsibility. The aim of this long-term initiative is to use the opportunities of the present to support future generations, to work for and preserve a healthy environment, and to raise its quality. The first phase of the installation took place on 23 June in the Alma Mater park.

Celebrating 120 years of its existence this year, Richter has partnered with the Metropolitan Horticultural Company, to plant an urban mini forest in Budapest. There are 120 trees in the forest in honour of these 120 years.ó.

The Representative Office of the Kyrgyz Republic has commemorated the 120 years anniversary of the company at a neurology conference held with the participation of noted speakers and attendees. Besides a cake with the 120 years logo the participants were invited to a flashmob as a closing moment of the conference where they could release 120 Richter blue and white colored balloons to the sky.

In addition to many other activities, Richter Gedeon Plc marks the 120th anniversary of its foundation with a national television advertising campaign in Hungary. 

The foreign subsidiaries of the Richter Group are organising several programmes to mark the 120th anniversary of the foundation of the Company. Gedeon Richter Romania, for example, designed a special animation calendar to commemorate the development of the Company with an innovative solution.

A special logo was created for the 120th anniversary of Richter’s foundation, which promotes Richter’s historical past on a number of surfaces, complementing the usual Richter logo.
